During the period, the NSS Volunteers visited to 8th Mile village area on 6th of Aug, 2018, to Gorabari village area on 7th of Aug,2018 and to Dilaram on 8th of Aug,2018, to take up door to door campaign to make the local masses aware about the importance of cleanliness in their surroundings. The volunteers dispersed themselves throughout the area and distributed leaflets and handouts to several houses and shops in the area, with the main motive to keep their surroundings clean and encourage them to construct toilets in their premises and use them. The leaflets and posters were also pasted at public places wherever possible to help spread the awareness even more. The volunteers were guided by Mr. Manoresh Thapa for this awareness campaign throughout these 3 days and it was successfully and peacefully conducted and a positive response was received from these local peoples.
